Working with the historians and museum directors at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, we explored how augmented reality could make that story more engaging and accessible.
From scripting and casting to filming and animating a 3D holographic Abe, we brought nearly every tool in our toolkit to the table to give museum visitors a new way to meet Lincoln.

To create a visual language that feels like you can reach out and touch it, we developed a holographic 3d style where everything was seamlessly comped into live action scenes filmed within the walls of the real museum. We developed a sepia palette but added a modern glow to each artifact, piece of text, and to Lincoln himself.
