The Rough Cut is a short film about the creative process: the gap between the idea in your head and what eventually makes it onto the page, screen, or canvas. It explores the doubt, frustration, experimentation, and vulnerability that every creative encounters along the way.
To tell that story, we invited artists and friends from around the world to contribute their work and, more importantly, their real voices. Their experiences became the voiceover, creating a film that is as collaborative as the creative process itself.

The challenge was to give each artist room to express themselves while creating enough visual cohesion for the film to feel like one experience. These early explorations show how we began building that shared language.
