Coat of Arms was founded in 2010 in response to a less nimble creative services market. Prioritizing collaboration built on trust, diversity, and down-to-earth priorities, Coat of Arms models a creative approach that places the artist and the message at the forefront. This more direct path gives imagination a fighting chance and translates to timeless, meaningful work.  


Coat of Arms works with Fortune 100 and 500 brands and is a Webby, Telly, Emmy, Cannes Lion-awarded studio. The work has played at over 50 film festivals world-wide, including Cannes, Doc Edge, DOC NYC, SXSW, and Tribeca.


A modern company whose home is everywhere you are, Clara and Jonathan can be found in a little Appalachian, Swiss village called Helvetia located in West Virginia. Come visit. We'll feed you.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion should feel like a natural part of every business. But in order to champion these pillars in an unfair world, we are intentional with our actions, our words, and our choices. From hires to brand messaging to how we portray characters in our illustrations, we see value in every human, and we’re excited to share their perspective.


Every year, we take on at least one pro-bono project that upholds DEIAB to further support and lift those voices. Also, we make it a goal to bring 50%+ minorities to each project, and we seek work with clients, messages, and missions that encourage inclusivity.
